Meet Patrick.
Patrick M. Macias
I have been a lawyer since 1982. I represent clients in transactions and in litigation concerning real estate, construction and business.
I represent owners and tenants of commercial and residential real estate. My practice includes purchase and sale agreements and disputes, leases, landlord/tenant matters, landslide and subsidence, adjoining owner matters, co-ownership, and eminent domain/inverse condemnation.
I work with owners and with contractors in a wide variety of construction cases, including construction defect litigation, contracts, performance disputes, and mechanic’s lien/stop notice claims.
I represent business owners in purchase and sale transactions, business entity formation and dissolution, co-owner disputes, consumer protection matters, and litigation.
I have successfully tried many and varied civil cases to jury verdict, judicial decision, and on appeal.
I have received the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent 5.0 rating, representing the highest possible rating for legal ability and ethical standards, reflecting confidential opinions of members of the Bar and the Judiciary. I am included in the peer nominated Top Lawyers in California for the highest in ethical standards and professional excellence.
I am an enthusiastic (although mediocre) golfer and I also play “old guy baseball” with friends from a Bay Area baseball league, the West Coast Fantasy Baseball Association. Position: Outfield. Throws: Right. Bats: Left.
